Mary's Journal: June 3

Tuesday I bottomed out physically and it was hard emotionally. I felt like paste; thick, slow, not good for much. The smallest things seemed to be overwhelming. I needed to get Stephen to an orthodontist appointment and my parents walked in the door just as I needed them. I am grateful God takes care of my needs, even little ones.

Thank the Lord that I am feeling better as the days go on. Each day brings more energy and experience. I know that I do need to eat more often. I am amazed what a little more food will do for my energy level. Now the challenge of making sure that I am putting good things in my mouth.

We are in the process of figuring out how to keep the family going in the best way possible . Having Mom much less than her old self is wearing on everyone. We are praying that we will fall into a routine that will work and be encouraging to all who have to live with me. I am thankful to all those who are helping with my children. They are precious and knowing they are being well cared for is helping me tremendously.

My next Chemo is scheduled for June 12th. I have a feeling that the summer will pass quickly in three week segments.

Thank you for your prayers,
